Hello dear Friends!

Last week was a banner week for us at the lodge. We had the pleasure of hosting a father and son duo from Germany who engaged in trophy hunting and successfully harvested several stunning trophies including Hartebeest, Oryx, Kudu, and Impala.

Another hunter joined us with ambitions of a comprehensive selection package aiming for 30 Springboks and 4 larger game animals. On the home front, significant strides are being made in the renovation of my father-in-law’s house and we’re in the early stages of planning a large flower garden.

Additionally, we’re excited about the upcoming launch of our new adventures & touring website.

Weather Update

With spring upon us, the landscape is bursting into colour as flowers bloom and trees fill out. Last week brought some sweltering days with temperatures peaking at 35 degrees. Looking ahead, we expect cloudier skies and are hopeful for rain towards the month’s end after several foggy mornings last week.

PH Diaries

Hendrik: Last week was thrilling with the pursuit of a large trophy package, featuring encounters with a range of majestic animals from eland to springbok.

Dirk: I journeyed south with a client targeting 30 springboks and 4 large game animals. It was a joy to introduce him to the region’s red sand dunes and star-filled skies.

Developments

Construction at my father-in-law’s is moving swiftly with interior fittings like cupboards being measured last week. We are nearing completion and are equally thrilled about fine-tuning our new website which will offer exclusive tours and car hire services showcasing Namibia’s breathtaking locales.
